OUR CHOIRS &

MUSICAL GROUPS

At The Community Church, music helps everyone share in the spirit of God.  You’ll hear traditional hymns, melodic choir arrangements, children’s pieces, and bell choirs.  We also have groups for Liturgical Dance and Composition Club. All are invited to join the choirs and special groups.

If you are interested in sharing your gift of music with the congregation or if you or your child is interested in private lessons please contact Rev. Dr. Debra Duke.

COMPOSITION CLUB

Composition Club is open to children from first grade through high school. Classes are held on Zoom, and the project for this winter will be to write songs that can be used during the Easter season. The goal is to work on songwriting, creating music, singing, and theory, and for children to feel accomplishment in creating their own music. For the season of Lent, Composition Club meets on Tuesdays, from 4:30 - 5:15. Contact Ms. Hazel for more information or to get the link for Composition Club.
