Rev. Dr. Debra Duke – Senior Pastor Reverend Dr. Debra Duke has served as Senior Pastor for The Community Church of Mountain Lakes since June 2012. She is a graduate of Princeton Theological Seminary, where she earned both her Master of Divinity degree, as well as her Ph.D. in Mission, Ecumenics, and History of Religions. Dr. Duke received her undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College and a Masters degree from Washington University in St. Louis. Dr. Duke also served in the Peace Corp in Senegal.
Ms. Hazel Eaton – Director of Music Hazel recently graduated from Westminster Choir College with a dual degree in Organ Performance and Sacred Music. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with Baccalaureate Honors. Hazel received Honorable Mention in the 2014 Joan Lippencot Organ Competition, and is a student of Alan Morrison. Hazel has held organist positions in churches throughout New Jersey, and has performed with the Westminster Symphonic Choir at Carnegie Hall and the Kimmel Center. She lives in Princeton and enjoys cooking, running, and writing.
Rev. Peggy Ludlow – Associate Pastor Peggy Ludlow is originally from Kenosha, WI. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a B.A. in Gender and Women’s Studies. She moved to Minnesota in 2014 to attend seminary. Peggy earned her Master of Divinity at United Theological Seminary in 2017. She was a Minnesota Conference UCC delegate to General Synod in 2017. Peggy, who was in the University Marching band, plays the trombone. She attended three Rose Bowls with the band! She enjoys playing board games with friends, exploring the outdoors and traveling. One interesting fact about Peggy is that she wrestled in middle and high school. Peggy is excited about The Community Church of Mountain Lakes and the opportunity to help lead worship and work directly with the youth and young adults in faith formation. She is especially excited about the opportunity to musically engage the youth with the choirs and yearly musical.
Ms. Susan Post – Office Administrator Susan has been the office administrator for CCML since 2012. Susan enjoys spending her spare time with family and friends, working out and taking care of her kids. She loves helping people.
Ray Rakumar–Sexton Ray Rajkumar has been sexton at CCML since 1992. Together with his wife, Tulari, Ray maintains the building and grounds and sets up for every event. CCML is extremely grateful to Ray and Tulari for their efforts and constant devotion to the ministries and families of CCML.
Ms. Linda Steenbock – Financial Administrator Linda joined us in April 2015. She previously did the books for the family business. Linda enjoys gardening and exercise. Linda also helps Brookside Community Church with their books.
